CBS News and SHSJC to Hold Mixer in New York City

The Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications at Hampton University and CBS News are holding an informational mixer for prospective high school students and their families Monday, Nov. 1 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Invitations are for prospective high school juniors and seniors in the New York City area who are thinking about journalism and communications as a major or are still undecided about a major. At the mixer, the students will meet Scripps Howard School faculty members who will provide detailed information about the journalism and communications program and answer questions. In addition, CBS News representatives will be present to talk about the benefits of pursuing a career in journalism and communications. Space is limited.
