SHSJC to Host Scripps Networks Interactive Career Sessions

Scripps Networks Interactive, known for its lifestyle media specializing in programming focused on food, home, entertainment, and travel, will hold career sessions on Monday, Feb. 6 and Tuesday, Feb. 7 at the Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications (SHSJC).

Students who are interested in paid internships with Scripps Networks Interactive will meet with the company's representatives who will be on site. Lysette Aviles- Kok and Waynetta Rogers will visit select classes as well as conduct interviews in room 207 in the SHSJC building.

Interviews for the following internship positions will be held:

  • Advertising Sales
  • Affiliate Sales
  • Corporate Communications
  • Digital Production
  • DIY - Consumer Press
  • Food Network - Consumer Marketing, Public Relations and New Business Development
  • GAC - Programming and Production
  • HGTV - Digital Programming
  • Travel Channel - Marketing, Programming and Communications
