APRIL WOODARD

AWARD WINNING JOURNALIST

April Woodard, a correspondent of valor refuses to be bound by ideal career limitations. A living oxymoron. A beauty queen reporting in hurricane force winds standing in squalid chest-deep flood water. A cub reporter, getting a triple murder's on camera confession - the exclusive seals the prosecution's case. On 9/11, covering the panicked terrorist scene, while fleeing the crumbling towers.

April can be seen weekly on the BET series, Criminals at Work. She spent 12 years as a Senior Correspondent on the nationally syndicated newsmagazine, Inside Edition. In addition, she was featured on BET and BET International networks hosting the shows, Mad Swagg, Music Around the Globe and co-hosted A Conversation with President Obama which was seen on other Viacom entities, MTV and CMT. She is also the host, co-creator and co-executive producer of the digital entertainment show, The Media Brew. April frequently appears as a pop culture expert on HLN's Showbiz Tonight.

April Woodard recently returned to Virginia with her husband, Adrian, who is the Pastor of Favor Nation Church. Along with their two children they own and operate their media company, FAVOR Multimedia Inc.
