Dr. Kangmiing Ma is a professor of journalism and communication. Her academic research focuses on mass communication and media criticism, especially the cultural industries and cinema arts. She has rich experience in the production, translation, and exchange of international television programs. Her academic publications and conference papers cover such topics as minorities in Hollywood, transnational cinema, and relationships between communication and philosophy or religion. She is the translator or co-translator of three academic books on leadership and international business laws.

Dr. Ma holds a Master's degree in Communication with a focus on cinema studies and a Ph.D. in Communication from Regent University's School of Communication and Arts.

Dr. Ma currently teaches Media Research, Media Criticism, International Journalism, and Digital Photography & Imaging. She is also devoted to developing academic collaborative relationships with international universities.
